Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, eh? Bad Bunny’s ex-girlfriend is taking him to court for $40 MILLION! She claims he has used a recording of her voice saying “Bad Bunny, baby” in at least 2 songs without permission. Take a listen to said songs below –
He and this ex, Carliz De La Cruz Hernández, dated from 2011-2017. She claims a rep for Bad Bunny contacted her in May 2022 and offered he $2,000 for the rights to the recording, which she turned down. If that’s true, I can’t really blame her. While I don’t know if that little recording is worth $40 million, $2,000 just feels a little bit like a slap in the face. I guess we’ll see if a jury agrees!
