If you don’t know about Maiya The Don, prepare yourself to be hearing a lot more of this name moving forward. Her song “Telfy” caught the ears of many when it went viral late in 2022 – hints of NY drill mixed with braggadocious bars, in true NY hip-hop fashion. Maiya’s come-up has been an interesting one, as her personality being at the forefront drew in hundreds of thousands of followers across social media before she ever started her rap career – one she says she feels has really only been going on professionally for about 4 months.
