Big shout out to our friends at Allagash! They have been named as the winner of the 2023 “Keg Champion Award” in the Mid-Sized Brewery Category. The new awards program is hosted by the Steel Keg Association to celebrate leading restaurants, bars, and breweries for embracing the remarkable benefits reusable steel kegs deliver: sustainability, efficiency, and a fresh consumer experience.

The Steel Keg Association created the Keg Champion Awards to recognize hospitality leaders’ sustainability programs and the positive impacts of steel kegs on the beverage industry.
In addition to winning a coveted, custom-made Keg Champion Award, the Steel Keg Association will donate $1,000 to Sebago Clean Waters, Allagash’s environmental organization of choice. Currently, for every barrel (31.5 gallons) of beer Allagash brews, they donate ten cents to Sebago Clean Waters. Mother Natures loves to see it!
