1. A Manhattan federal jury found Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in 1996. Trump must now pay her about $5 million in damages. Trump posted on Truth Social: “I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO THIS WOMAN IS. THIS VERDICT IS A DISGRACE (JN)

2. Sanford, Maine, has seen an influx of asylum seekers, with around 100 people arriving since Friday. Sanford officials claim that people transported the asylum seekers to their city from Portland.  If they were processed in Portland they will not be able to receive assistance from Sanford. (WMTW)

3. Orono schools will resume classes as usual today. Asa Adams Elementary, Orono Middle and Orono High were closed on Tuesday after officials identified a “security threat.” They now believe there is no active threat to students and staff. (BDN)

4. The NFL is set to announce their schedule tomorrow. There will be a Black Friday game this season. Games will no longer be exclusively for networks. That means CBS isn’t the AFC network and FOX isn’t the NFC network. Not every team will play in a primetime game. (Yahoo)

5. Starbucks is celebrating summer with new drinks! Chocolate Java Mint and White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew have been added to the menu. (CB)
