Fetty Wap is going away for a bit! He was just sentenced to 6 years in jail for drug trafficking. Last August, he pled guilty to conspiracy and distribution charges. Specifically, it was conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
During his sentencing, Judge Joanna Seybert said, “Despite your background and all you overcame, you threw it all away.” Harsh, but not wrong.
Fetty told the courtroom “I hurt my community, people who look up to me, my family, and myself. I am truly sorry for any pain I caused.” It sounds like he’s remorseful, so hopefully he can turn things around after serving his time!
