The most recent trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire showcases a lineup of familiar characters. Returning to the screen are the original Ghostbusters Bill Murray, Dan Akyroyd, and Ernie Hudson. Additionally, the trailer features the iconic Slimer, miniature versions of Stay Puft Marshmallow Men, and Annie Potts reprising her role as Janine Melnitz, this time in a different attire.
The veteran Ghostbusters join forces with the next generation from Ghostbusters: Afterlife, including Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace. Together, they face a chilling new adversary named the Death Chill, humorously described by Murray’s Venkman as “tall, dark, and horny.” As the streets of New York City succumb to an abrupt Ice Age, the question arises: can this united team of Ghostbusters, blending both the old and the new, successfully thwart the impending threat and save the day?
