3. According to Maine Public, Mainers wagered about $3.5 million in total on Super Bowl LVIII. Roughly $2.5 million was paid out in winnings, with the state collecting about $110,000 in taxes on the sportsbooks’ $1 million in revenue. (WGME)

4. For the first time in UMaine Women’s Hockey history, the university has announced that they will sell season tickets as well as single-game tickets for the 2024-25 season.
