Haley’s visit is the first by a major party presidential primary candidate in this primary election cycle. 3. The Special Olympics Winter Games wrapped up their competition at Lost Valley on Thursday for the first time since the pandemic. Athletes competed in several winter sports for the two-day event, including speed skating, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and alpine skiing. (WMTW)
4. Macy’s does not plan to close its only location in Maine, a spokesperson said Thursday. The store could be in line for upgrades. The company announced Tuesday plans to close 150 stores over the next several years. (PH)
5. Caitlin Clark announced on Thursday that she will enter the WNBA Draft after the 2023-24 college season. She is expected to be the top pick in the draft on April 15. She is just 18 points away from passing Pete Maravich’s all-time college basketball scoring record. She will likely break that record in Sunday’s game against Ohio State.
