The 55th NAACP Image Awards went down this weekend! Queen Latifah hosted the show, New Edition was inducted into the Image Awards Hall of Fame, and Usher received the President’s Award.
The Color Purple picked up the most awards, taking home 11, including Outstanding Motion Picture, Outstanding Actress for Fantasia, and Outstanding Supporting Actress for Taraji P. Henson.
Abbott Elementary picked up several awards during the night, including Outstanding Comedy series.
