Go upta camp with Allagash! The brewery is transforming their Portland campus into a bonafide Summer Camp. They’re hosting “Camp Allagash”, inviting visitors to channel their inner camper with activities that range from tie-dying and friendship bracelet-making, to “fishing,” (tiny) axe throwing, a Center for Wildlife animal visit, a Rock Paper Scissors Tournament, and much more. The majority of the programming will be free for all visiting the tasting room, and some special events will be ticketed.
- Center for Wildlife animal visit – noon-3pm
- Frozen Treats
- Toy Axe Throwing (all day) – test your throwing skills with mini axes and Velcro targets around the tasting room
- Rock Painting – rocks and acrylic markers will be available all day for arts and crafts
- Bingo – From 4:30 to 6:00, they’ll be running Bingo for all who’d like to participate. Prizes for winners include gift cards to use in the Tasting Room, Patagonia backpacks, and more.
- Tie Dye – bring your own piece of 100% cotton clothing to tie dye. Free bandanas will be provided to all who’d like to participate. RSVPs appreciated – 4:00-5:30
- “Fish in a Bucket” Casting Challenge with prizes, running all day
- Friendship Bracelets arts and crafts (all day)
- Sip and Learn: Crafting with Nature in Mind (6pm), a Nature Craft & Mindfulness Workshop during which participants will create hand-hammered botanical tea towels with foraged plants with The Ecology School. Tickets ($15) are available here. $5 of each ticket will be given back to The Ecology School, which immerses people of all ages in outdoor experiences.

- Camp-themed Trivia – hosted by Meg of Personality Hire Trivia, free for all who’d like to play—with prizes for the winners. RSVPs are encouraged (to make sure you get a spot) (5:30pm-7pm)
- Rock, Paper, Scissors Competition – Hosted every hour, with a format that’s quick, any tasting room guest can participate in, and involves lots of cheering
- Audubon bird walk – take a walk on the Presumpscot River Trail, right near Allagash, with experienced birders from the Audubon Society. RSVPs encouraged. Starts at 11am
