Our friends at Allagash Brewing Company are proud to announce they are partnering with Patagonia Provisions, the food and beverage business of outdoor apparel company Patagonia, as part of the inaugural A Good Grain Collaborative program! Allagash is one of only 11 independent craft breweries around the country selected for the program, which seeks to scale regenerative farming practices and perennial ingredients that are better for the planet.
As part of the collaboration, Allagash will introduce a new beer: Dry-Hopped Pilsner (5.5% ABV, 35 IBU) brewed with organic ingredients, including Regenerative Organic Certified® Kernza® Perennial Grain. The beer will be available exclusively on draft in limited supply in the Allagash Tasting Room beginning June 29.

Allagash and Patagonia will each contribute 1% of Patagonia beer sales to a local non-profit that supports environmental initiatives and meets 1% for the Planet eligibility criteria. Allagash is supporting long-time partner Cultivating Community to receive these funds. This Maine-based nonprofit empowers New Americans by teaching sustainable farming practices and connecting them to the community through their food hub; they support and manage diverse urban growing spaces, enabling community members to grow their own food within city limits.
Can’t wait to try the Dry-Hopped Pilsner on June 29th!
