Pride Month kicked off yesterday on June 1st, celebrating and commemorating the LGBTQIA+ community!
Here’s how you can get in on the fun and support in our state:
Ogunquit Pride began by raising the flag on June 1st, with activities and celebrations carrying through June 5th. For a full schedule of events, click here.
Great Falls Pride – Pride L/A takes place on Saturday, June 10th with a parade starting at Festival Plaza in Auburn and ending in Simard-Payne Park in Lewiston with celebrations and entertainment. The parade begins at 1p.
The Pride Portland Parade and Festival will be held on Saturday, June 17th. The parade begins at 1pm at Monument Square and will end at Deering Oaks Park – where the festival will be held from 1p to 5p.
The Bangor Pride Parade and Festival will take place in downtown Bangor on Saturday, June 24th. The parade will happen at 11a with a festival following at 12p in West Market Square and Norumbega Park.
