I recently got to chat with with Taylor Taliaferro, Board President of Furniture Friends, a local nonprofit that provides essential household furniture to low-income families in Greater Portland.

Taylor shared the staggering impact their team made last year, serving over 900 households with donated items like mattresses, dining tables, and more. Furniture Friends makes giving easy with both pickup and drop-off options, and they’re always looking for more donations.
