Celebrating and encouraging women is all the Maine Mariners’ “Women in Sports Day,” is about. Hot Radio Maine’s very own Hayley got to join in on the fun by hosting their panel of 5 women that are involved in sports right here in Maine. The panel took place January 28th with the room full of active women, eager to share their experiences with inclusivity in the sports world. “It was a really empowering and inspiring day hearing the stories of other women in sports,” Hayley expressed, “The energy in the room was very powerful.” The turn out was said to be more than anticipated, so it looks like the event will definitely be returning.
