A new collaboration is bringing together sport, style, and local pride just in time for the global soccer spotlight! Umbro has teamed up with Allagash Brewing Company to release a limited-edition, vintage-inspired soccer jersey that blends the legacy of the beautiful game with Maine’s craft beer culture.
Dubbed the “Deep Currents” jersey, the design pulls heavily from Umbro’s iconic 1990s aesthetic while incorporating meaningful details that reflect Allagash’s roots. Flowing lines throughout the jersey pay tribute to the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, the river system that inspired the brewery’s name. The custom “team crest” on the chest mirrors the shape of the brand’s tap handle and features the signature Allagash “A” alongside river imagery.
Above the crest, three stars honor the gold medals won by Allagash White at the World Beer Cup, a nod to a tradition commonly seen in global football kits. Additional details include the phrase “From Maine, With Love” on the nape and the number “95” on the back, representing the brewery’s founding year of 1995. Within the number, fans will find subtle design elements like the brand’s signature leaf pattern and a silhouette of the recognizable tap handle.

The release is timed ahead of the 2026 World Cup and aligns with Umbro’s launch of a new kit builder, allowing teams to customize both classic and modern designs.
This collaboration is also part of a larger campaign aimed at connecting Allagash with the soccer community. Fans will have chances to win the jersey through sweepstakes hosted at bars, restaurants, and retail locations, with multiple drawings planned. The brewery is also expected to host soccer-themed events throughout the year!
Allagash has continued to expand its presence in the sports world, building on partnerships with teams like the New York Mets and Portland Hearts of Pine.
The limited-edition jersey will be available for pre-order through the Allagash online store and for purchase in person at their tasting rooms in Portland and Scarborough.
