1. A new bill before the Maine State Legislature would grant health coverage to immigrants who are not citizens through MaineCare, the state’s version of government-paid-for-Medicaid for low-income residents. The bill received a five-hour public hearing Tuesday. (WMTW)

2. A student was injured after a tractor-trailer hit a school bus in Portland Tuesday morning. At the time of the crash, there were 15 students and one driver on the bus. The crash is still under investigation. (WGME)

3. The Maine CDC is warning residents of Augusta about a confirmed case of rabies recently found in a skunk. (WGME)

4. The MPA Basketball Committee approved a plan Tuesday for the use of video replay at the end of the high school basketball tournament games. A final vote will be taken at a meeting on April 27th. (PH)

5. The National Park Service says it has approved an increase in the weekly and annual entrance pass fee for Acadia National Park. Starting April 1st a day pass will be $35 and an annual pass will be $70. The extra money will help expand their bus system. (WGME)
