On a rare Instagram live stream, 50 Cent told the world he “can’t be running around like this” for much longer.
After revealing that he sold more than half a million tickets in the first week of sales, 50 says more dates are going to be added to the world tour that will be celebrating the 20 year anniversary of his classic debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’. It looks as though he plans to go out with a bang before focusing on other ventures.
“I gotta do my film and television stuff and got a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that I gotta work on, so I won’t be out touring as much as I’ve been touring,” 50 says. “I’m having fun this time because it’s set up to enjoy myself, we not feeling pressure.”
The 64 date (and counting) tour is set to kick off it’s North American leg in Salt Lake City on July 21st before coming to a close on September 17th. After a short break, he’ll continue on with the European leg on September 28th. You can catch 50 with Busta Rhymes, Jeremih, and assuredly some special guests at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA on August 3rd.
