1. The U.S. tops 32.4 million covid-19 cases with more than 577,000 related deaths. The Maine CDC reported no new deaths and 231 new cases on Sunday keeping Maine’s death toll at 789 with 126 Mainers currently hospitalized. Nearly 40% of Mainers have been fully vaccinated. (WMTW)
2. MaineHealth is accepting walk-ins for Covid-19 vaccines at its Scarborough Downs clinic on Monday and Tuesday, May 3 and 4, from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. (WMTW)
3. Six female coaches at Colby College have filed a complaint alleging they are paid significantly less than their male counterparts. Equal pay in sports has been a hot-button topic since U.S. women’s soccer players began demanding equal pay in 2016.
