1. Facebook users around the globe can now do more than “like” a post. They can love it, laugh at it or feel angered by it. The social network rolled out “Reactions” – an extension of the “Like” button – worldwide yesterday. IG had some updates of their own. Videos are now measured by views instead of likes. (Reuters)

3. Bangor native will audition for a chance to appear on ‘The Voice.’ 20-year-old Isabelle Jonason has made it past the initial video audition process and will go to New York City to sing in front of a panel who will decide whether she will move on for the chance to audition in front of judges Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine. 4. There was a ‘Noise Downtown’ meeting at Portland City Hall yesterday. About 25 people, most of them downtown businessmen and women, attended. The end goal is to strike a balance between protecting the rights of overnight guests at downtown hotels who say they’ve been disturbed by late-night noise against the rights of Old Port bars and nightclubs that generate loud noise – especially around the 1 a.m. closing time. Topics discussed included the regulation of outdoor speakers and having police take noise complaints more seriously.(PH)
5. Maine Yoga Fest in cooperation w/ Evo Rock & Fitness and Allagash are holding a 90 minute yoga workshop followed by a 60 minute Allagash social hour this Sunday.
