1. The Pentagon is distancing itself from President Donald Trump’s assertions that he would bomb Iranian cultural sites. 3. The Maine Turnpike Authority said drivers owe more than $800,000 in unpaid tolls over the past 16 years. Most of the money is owed by out-of-state drivers, including commercial trucks. It can be a challenge to find toll evaders because most states don’t share information on drivers. (WMTW)

4. Pier 1 Imports will close up to 450 stores and is reportedly nearing a bankruptcy filing. In 2019, U.S. retailers announced 9,302 store closings, a 59% jump from 2018. (WMTW)

5. Oscar Meyer is looking for “hotdoggers” to drive their 27-foot Wienermobiles. If hired, “hotdoggers” act as brand ambassadors, driving cross-country to charity functions, grocery stores and other locations. “Hotdoggers” are paid a full year’s salary with benefits.
