1. The Supreme Court will vote to overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to a document obtained by Politico. The 1973 decision established a nationwide right to abortion and the 1992 decision Planned Parenthood v. Casey helped to maintain the right. Gov. Mills issued a statement “I pledge that as long as I am Governor, I will fight with everything I have to protect reproductive rights and to preserve access to reproductive health care in the face of every and any threat to it – whether from politicians in Augusta or Supreme Court Justices in Washington.”
2. Another Mainer has been charged as the FBI continues to round up suspects in the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. The FBI says 35-year-old Joshua Colgan of Jefferson was arrested Monday.
3. Another Maine health care provider has dropped Anthem insurance. Fore River Urology says it will no longer be accepting Anthem commercial plans starting August 1.
4. Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Celtics and Bucks starts tonight at 7pm. Coach Ime Udoka said he expects Marcus Smart to be listed as questionable. He was dealing with a right quad contusion and then took two shots to the quad on back-to-back plays in Game 1.
