The stars were truly out at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony over the weekend, and it’s always cool to see them exchanging flowers. A Tribe Called Quest is one act that became enshrined in the Hall forever, and much was made of such a momentous occasion. Introduced by Dave Chappelle, the group and the family members of the late, great Phife Dawg came up to accept the introduction and take turns addressing the crowd on the mic. Q-Tip delivered an emotional speech, Phife was deservedly showered in love and wishes that he were still here today to see this, and a medley of the groups songs and improvisations of them were performed by the likes of The Roots, Busta Rhymes, Common, De La Soul, and more. Not a bad way to be celebrated if you ask me.
