Bad Bunny made history at Super Bowl 60 as the first solo Latin artist to headline the halftime show, performing his entire set in Spanish! The stage was designed as a traditional Puerto Rican “casita,” turning Levi’s Stadium into a vibrant cultural celebration.
A representative for Bad Bunny confirmed the wedding ceremony held during the performance was actually real! The couple officially tied the knot live on stage, surrounded by a wedding party and a massive cake. Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance to perform a salsa-infused, bilingual version of her hit “Die With a Smile.” She then joined Bad Bunny for a dance session on a stage packed with other stars, including Ricky Martin, Cardi B, and Pedro Pascal.
The show featured a powerful social message. Addressing the global audience, Bad Bunny said, “We are not savages, we are not animals, we are not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans.” To close the performance, Bad Bunny named several countries across the Americas and said “God Bless America” in Spanish. The show ended with a prominent message on the stadium screens stating: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
What an amazing and powerful performance! Relive it below 💃
