Puerto Rican artists Residente and Bad Bunny are collaborating on an original historical drama about their home! René Pérez Joglar, known as Residente, will make his directorial debut with the film “PORTO RICO.”
Bad Bunny will lead a cast that includes Viggo Mortensen, Javier Bardem, and Edward Norton. The film aims to tell the story of Puerto Rico and its history, with Residente saying, “Our goal is to make a film that is not only entertaining but also has a social and historical message.” The project is described as a “starry cast” with a focus on telling the story of Puerto Rico, as Bad Bunny expressed, “We are going to tell the story of our people, of our land, of our culture.”
