Beyoncé has snagged her first Primetime Emmy Award! She won as a part of the team of costume designers for her Netflix NFL Christmas Halftime Show, Beyoncé Bowl. Bey’s Emmy comes in the category of outstanding costumes for variety, nonfiction, or reality programming.
A panel of professionals reviews juried category entries, and they may choose to give an Emmy to one, more than one, or no entry. There are no nominees, just a single round of evaluation and voting. The honor is part of the Emmy’s juried awards that will be celebrated at the 77th Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 6th and 7th. Big congrats to her!
