Detroit native Big Sean and Usher have officially opened a new Boys & Girls Club Entertainment Incubator at Michigan Central! The facility is designed to provide local youth with professional-grade resources to explore careers in music, film, and digital media. This project is a collaboration between the Sean Anderson Foundation, Usher’s New Look, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan.
During the opening ceremony, Big Sean emphasized his commitment to his hometown, stating, “Giving back to the city that made me is always the priority. We want to give these kids the tools I wish I had when I was starting out.” Usher highlighted the importance of mentorship and providing a safe space for artistic expression. He noted that the facility isn’t just about making hits, but about building confidence and teaching leadership skills that translate to any career path.
