An unlikely bromance between Bob Dylan and Machine Gun Kelly is brewing! The rock legend has narrated a trailer for MGK’s upcoming album, Lost Americana.

“Lost Americana is a personal excavation of the American dream,” begins Dylan’s voice. “A journey to find what’s been lost. This album is a love letter to those who seek to rediscover — the dreamers, the drifters, the defiled.”
MGK hasn’t officially confirmed that it’s the real Bob Dylan narrating his video, but the voice is unmistakably Dylan’s. As for Dylan’s involvement in the trailer, it comes after he seemingly out of nowhere, posted a video of MGK rapping on his Instagram earlier this year. This friendship is a thing as unusual as it seems.
MGK’s new album, Lost Americana, will include the recent single “Cliché,” and will be released on August 8th; this will be his follow-up to 2022’s Mainstream Sellout.
