Boston Calling 2025 was an unforgettable weekend of music, energy, and connection! I had the chance to catch up with a few standout artists backstage to talk about their latest work, their festival experience, and what’s next. Check out the full interviews below!
Wilderado
I caught up with Tyler from Wilderado fresh off their Boston Calling set. We talked about their current tour, the growing success of “Higher Than Most” on alternative radio, and the love fans are showing their sophomore album Talker. Tyler also shared how honored they are to be featured on the Twisters soundtrack and gave some insight into their powerful cover of “Wall of Death.”
Holy Roller
Holy Roller called their Boston Calling set the biggest of their career and it showed! We talked about their journey as a band, their second album, and what’s inspiring their latest writing. Naturally, I also had to pitch them on playing in Portland. Let’s make it happen!
Copilot
It doesn’t get more local than Copilot and these Boston-based rockers played their hometown festival in front of a roaring crowd! We talked about their start at a 2016 house party, their new EP, and the wide range of influences behind their indie roots rock sound. Their motto? “Chase the fun.”
Snacktime
Snacktime brought the energy and heart to the stage, and our chat backstage was just as vibrant! We talked about their single “SUNSHINE,” upcoming sets at Roots Picnic and Newport Folk Fest, and of course: food. They also shared their vision of “the way life should be”- full of love, dignity, and community.
