Back in 2019 Cardi B refused to join Maroon 5 for the Super Bowl halftime show as she stood in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick. In response to a virtual fan question during the late night show, Cardi claimed that “things change” as she would welcome the opportunity with open arms.
We’ll probably know who 2024’s Super Bowl halftime performer is before the month is up, and Cardi has teased a new album while most recently dropping a new single with Megan Thee Stallion. She’s definitely a candidate worth considering given her medley of hits over the past 5 years.
