Safe to say this trio makes for a smooth jam. “Summer Drop” is the 2nd track in about a years time that Cordae, .Paak, and Cole have come together to collaborate – following 2023’s “Two Tens” which again saw J.Cole not providing bars, but beats as he gets into his producer bag from time to time.
“Summer Drop” definitely has that windows down summertime feel, perfect for the last few weeks of the season. If these collaborations are any indication of what a full project might sound like, as Cordae and Anderson .Paak have previously eluded to, you can sign me up.
