Would Drake turn down the biggest live performance opportunity known to man? Reportedly, he already has, not once, not twice, but four times in the recent years.
According to respected Hip-Hop journalist Elliot Wilson, Drake doesn’t appear to be interested in the opportunity that most artists would kill for. “I have it on authority, multiple sources have told me that Drake has indeed turned down the Super Bowl. He actually turned down the first two – since Jay-Z and Roc Nation partnered with the NFL — the one in Miami and The Weeknd one.”
You have to wonder how seeing his arch nemesis Kendrick Lamar getting a crack at it, in his mentor and brother Lil Wayne’s city, at that, will affect that choice. Will he want to “show him how it’s done” and best K. Dot on the biggest stage? Time will tell.
