Coldplay will be the headliner during the Super Bowl halftime show, it was announced during last night’s Thursday Night Football game between the Lions and Packers. The Super Bowl will take place on February 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home of the 49ers. Coldplay’s new album, A Head Full of Dreams, is out today, and the band will reportedly place tickets for its North American tour on sale shortly after the Super Bowl. Rumor has it that previous Super Bowl performers Beyonce and Bruno Mars may make guest appearances during America’s biggest sporting event.|
