On last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, it was revealed that People has named David Beckham as 2015’s Sexiest Man Alive. “It’s the best moment of my career,” the 40-year-old former soccer star joked. “I can’t believe it.” Beckham, who replaces 2014’s title holder Chris Hemsworth, went on to thank his parents, hairdresser and stylist. Beckham also dished to People that his wife has already congratulated him on the honor. “I would hope that she feels this way about me all the time anyway,” he noted. The magazine’s Sexist Man Alive issue hits stands Friday.
