It’s official – Adam Sandler will be starring in a sequel to his classic 1996 golf flic, Happy Gilmore!

The project will be co-written by Adam Sandler. The original also featured Carl Weathers, Bob Barker, and Joe Flaherty, who have all since passed away. It’s promised the new film will honor them in some way.
Adam also said he’s going to make sure the second installment lives up to its predecessor. Details about the project, including a director, plot, and release date, have not yet been announced, but, of course, we’ll keep you posted. I can’t wait for this!
