I got to sit down with Tobias Jelinek and Larry Bagby, better known to fans as Jay and “Ice” from Disney’s Hocus Pocus, to reminisce about their iconic roles and preview what’s ahead this spooky season!
The duo shared behind-the-scenes memories from the film’s 1993 release, including how pop culture icons like Guns N’ Roses and Michael Jackson inspired their characters’ look and attitude. More than 30 years later, they’re still fan favorites – and this October, they’re bringing the magic back to Salem!
From October 2nd-5th, Jelinek, Bagby, and fellow Hocus Pocus cast members Omri Katz, Vinessa Shaw, and Jason Marsden will serve as Grand Marshals of the 28th Annual Haunted Happenings Parade before hosting their 3rd annual It’s Just a Buncha Halloween celebration. The four-day event will feature:

On top of the Salem festivities, Larry shared some personal news – he’s engaged, and the couple will be celebrating during the Cabot Theater screening! Tobias also teased his upcoming projects, including appearances in Ryan Murphy’s Monster on Netflix, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, and ABC’s High Potential.
