Everyone meet our new intern, Amanda Pahigian. She is a communication major at USM (junior). Amanda grew up in Scarborough, but now lives in Portland. Living minutes from the ocean in Scarborough contributed to her love of going to the beach in the summer. She also enjoys skiing during the winter. For as long as she remembers, she thought she might want to do something radio related. As she grew up, her love of radio kept growing. However, an audio production class that she took last year at USM really sparked her interest in radio. Going to as many concerts as she can helps fulfill Amanda’s love of music. Hip-hop, rap, and dance music are her favorite genres. Some of he favorite artists to listen to include Kanye West, Drake, and The Chainsmokers. She is excited to start her internship here at Hot 104.7. As an intern, Amanda hopes to gain knowledge about many aspects of the radio business.
