Drake, The Chainsmokers, Bruno Mars, and Ed Sheeran lead this year’s American Music Award nominations, which were revealed Thursday by Ciara on Good Morning America. “It’s a huge honor and it makes you feel like you’ve really accomplished something,” Ciara said about how it feels to be nominated for an AMA. Also commenting on that feeling was pop star Halsey, who both performed on Thursday’s GMA and learned she was nominated for an AMA thanks to her Chainsmokers collaboration “Closer.” “I was hoping. I had my fingers crossed,” the first-time nominee admitted. “It’s unbelievable.” The 2017 AMAs will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET on November 19.
