Juvenile is a man of his word! Following his amazing Tiny Desk Concert, he’s giving the people what they want. In a recent statement, he said, “One thing about me that’s different from other artists is that I really do listen to my fans. And my fans turn out to really know what’s best for me. They are the ones who made me do Tiny Desk. I hadn’t even heard of NPR to be honest. Then they took to the internet and demanded shows in their cities with the band. God is great and my fans sold all of those shows out. That’s why we are going on tour of the rest of the country.”
Yes, you read that right; to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his classic, “Back That Azz Up,” Juvenile is heading on tour! The announcement was made in conjunction with New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s naming of June 11th Back That Azz Up Day in the Cresent City.
Thank you @mayorcantrell and please everyone enjoy back that azz up day responsibly 😂🔙🍑🆙 pic.twitter.com/bR2x3M4aXz

The tour starts on July 7th and ends on New Year’s Eve, both in New Orleans. The best part, though, is he’s going to be making a stop in OUR neck of the woods! Catch Juvenile and the 400 Degreez Band at the State Theatre in Portland on December 8th. Tickets go on sale this Friday here!
