Music and sports. Perhaps the two biggest forms of entertainment in America, if not the world. The two have always been so closely intertwined as artists want to be athletes and athletes want to be artists, so it’s kind of shocking that a musician has never been featured in a Gatorade commercial until now.
As we know, Kendrick has been at the top of his game and on top of the music world for some time now accomplishing a number of firsts, and the hits keep coming. “Peekaboo” soundtracks the commercial as Kendrick narrates and gives a motivational speech, while basketball stars like Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson, Luka Doncic, and the Celtics own Jayson Tatum make cameos.
