What a YEAR for Kendrick Lamar! Yesterday, it was announced that he will headline the 2025 Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show on February 9th, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
This will be Kendrick’s second time performing at the Super Bowl. You might remember, he was a special guest alongside Dr. Dre’s West Coast hip-hop showcase in 2022! It’s also the second time a rapper is the main event. In a statement, Kendrick said, “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date and I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.”
The Super Bowl Halftime Show will be shown live on Fox from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. It will also be the sixth year that the show will be programmed by Roc Nation.
