MusiCares will honor Mariah Carey at the 35th annual Person of the Year benefit gala tonight in LA! The event will feature a diverse lineup of performers, including John Legend, Foo Fighters, Jennifer Hudson, Teddy Swims, Adam Lambert, Laufey, Maggie Rogers, Charlie Puth, Kesha, Taylor Momsen, and Billy Porter. MC expressed her gratitude for the artists’ participation and emphasized the healing power of music and the significance of the evening in support of MusiCares.

MusiCares was founded in 1989 and is affiliated with the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. The organization provides assistance to music professionals in need, covering financial, medical, and personal challenges.
Mariah is recognized not only for her musical contributions but also for her philanthropic efforts, including aid during Hurricane Katrina, COVID-19 relief, and the establishment of Camp Mariah, which empowers underserved youth. A very deserved honor – congrats!
