(Music) A “Glorious” Review of Britney’s New Album

Britney Spears’ new album “Glory” was released today! I’ve listened to it once (so far) and here are all my initial thoughts:

1. Invitation– An angelic intro to the album. Sultry Brit is in full force. Could fall asleep to this jam (in a good way.)
2. Make Me– Such a good slow jam. Great choice for her first single from this album. G-Eazy could probably make anyone “ooh.”
3. Private Show- I could bounce to this one all day long. Brit’s vocals are sincerely top notch here.
4. Man on the Moon– Sounds like something off her “Circus” album. We all want Brit to find her man on the moon.
5. Just Luv Me– Honestly, at first listen, this one was kind of a snooze compared to the rest of the album.
6. Clumsy- Not Fergie’s “Clumsy”, but definitely inspired by I feel like. Way more electronic though.
7. Do You Wanna Come Over?– Sounds like something off her “Blackout” album. Brit is back and I’m overwhelmed with joy.
8. Slumber Party– Another sultry and spicy jam. Her sons are definitely crying when they listen to this one. God bless.
9. Just Like Me- A different sound for Brit! Lovely acoustic sounds and 90’s vibes. Mama like.
10. Love Me Down- Can’t. Stop. Snapping. I love this one. Fingers crossed it’s her next single.
11. Hard to Forget Ya- It’s hard to forget this one because she repeats the same lyrics approximately 1,000 times.
12. What You Need- Jazzy! Kinda feels like Cupid Shuffle, only much more beautiful.
13. Better– Love the beat on this one. I was snapping along the whole time.
14. Change Your Mind- Ooh some Latin vibes here! The melody is just lovely. She could change any hater’s mind with this one.
15. Liar- Some country and hip-hop feels! Sounds JUST like old school Brit (I Got That Boom Boom, ya feel me?). Holy cow I love this one.
16. If I’m Dancing- Requesting this one at the club ASAP. Has RiRi “Where Have You Been” vibes.
17. Coupure Electrique- Ooh lala, Brit’s French side comes out! Props to her for singing this entire song in a foreign language. Though I do wish I knew what she was saying.
