Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd are the leading nominees among the just-announced 2016 Grammy Award nominations. Lamar scored 11 nominations this year, more than any other artist, with Swift and The Weeknd tying for second with seven nominations apiece. Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, Swift’s 1989 and The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness will all compete for Album of the Year, along with Chris Stapleton’s Traveller and Alabama Shakes’ Sound and Color. Lamar and Swift are also both up for Song of the Year for “Alright” and “Blank Space,” respectively; “Blank Space” is also up for Record of the Year, as is The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.”
