Mike Tyson is set to make a comeback to the boxing ring, taking on the controversial figure in the sport, Jake Paul. The match is scheduled for July 20 at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, and will be broadcast live on Netflix, as announced by the streaming platform on Thursday.
While the nature of the fight is described as an exhibition, the details remain unclear. Tyson, a legendary former heavyweight champion, will be 58 years old at the time of the event, marking his return to official boxing matches since June 11, 2005, when he faced Kevin McBride.
In a previous exhibition bout on Nov. 28, 2020, Tyson went up against Roy Jones Jr. in Los Angeles. The same event featured Jake Paul delivering a knockout to former Knicks guard Nate Robinson in the second round. Jake Paul, 27, has gained significant attention in the boxing world by engaging in matches with former MMA stars such as Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley (twice), and Ben Askren.
Paul experienced his first defeat when he faced a professional boxer in Tommy Fury, the brother of Tyson Fury.

I idolized Mike Tyson until the first time I met him 4 years ago…he called me Logan. Going to make sure he knows who I am real close and personal. https://t.co/RILzkdz4Fa
