The temperatures here in Maine have been rising. Maybe it’s climate change, maybe it’s just a fluke and we’ll be back to blizzards again next week. Or, perhaps the heat being produced by God.Damn.Chan has something to do with the warmer weather and, as a result, all the slush.
Portland, ME native God.Damn.Chan releases his debut album Slush via Alpha Pup Records today. If you’re a fan of banging beats and Kaytranada-esque production, it’s sure to get you grooving.
Making the move from the slow paced lifestyle of Maine to the flashing lights of Los Angeles can be daunting for some, but for Chan it was the perfect time and place. The new album Slush references the frozen home he left behind. Chan says, “I moved from a place that’s really cold to a place that’s never cold. Calling it Slush is tongue-in-cheek a little bit, especially because I got out of Maine right before the winter.”
