The final trailer for the upcoming third season of Squid Game has been released! Netflix dropped a new look at the hit Korean series’ final season, which is set to premiere at the end of this month.
Here’s a synopsis: The third and final season of Squid Game follows Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) after losing his best friend in the game and being driven to utter despair by The Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), who was hiding his true identity to infiltrate the game. After a few sneak peeks from the season 3 official trailer, the video ends with Player 149 admitting, “I’m trying to put an end to it.”
Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk spoke about the franchise’s future in a recent interview and teased the possibility of spinoffs. “That doesn’t mean I’ll never return to Squid Game in the future… I’m not planning to make anything related to Squid Game right away, though I am considering the possibility of doing a spinoff,” he said.
