Leaked audio from a company meeting revealed Elon Musk issuing an ultimatum to remote Twitter employees. He said, “Let me be crystal clear, if people do not return to the office when they are able to return to the office — they cannot remain at the company. End of story.” He added, “There are plenty of people at Tesla and SpaceX that do work remotely… but it is on an exception basis for exceptional people — and I totally understand if that doesn’t work for some people, but that’s the new philosophy for Twitter. Twitter fired half of its workforce last Friday and has been embroiled in questionable platform decisions all week.
#ElonMusk has told #Twitter staff that remote working will end and "difficult times" lie ahead, according to reports.
In an email to staff, the owner of the social media firm said workers would be expected in the office for at least 40 hours a week, #Bloomberg reported. pic.twitter.com/GXB4i7FSBC— NFTQueen2022.eth (@NFTQueen2022) November 11, 2022
