It won’t be T.I. VERZUZ Jeezy this Thursday. Gucci Mane will replace T.I. for this week’s battle. He made the announcement on Saturday night. While there was no specific reason given for the change, T.I. is in favor of it. He wrote on Instagram, “Now THIS… Is what the people want to see‼️ Trap Muzik salutes y’all.” Jeezy and Gucci Mane have had a long-running feud that dates back to 2005, when Gucci was accused of shooting and killing rapper Henry Lee Clark III, an associate of Jeezy’s. He said he shot Clark in self-defense when Clark and four other men attacked him. Prosecutors dropped the murder charges against Gucci Mane in 2006, saying they didn’t have enough evidence. The second season of VERZUZ TV premieres Thursday, November 19th, at 8:00 pm Eastern.
