(News) Jim Carey Reacts To Slap Heard Around The World

Jim Carrey was a guest on CBS Mornings’ talking to Gayle King about his new movie Sonic the Hedgehog 2 where he gave his thoughts on what unfolded between Chris Rock and Will Smith. He also said if he was Chris Rock he would’ve sued. He went on to say “That insult is gonna last a very long time. If you want to yell from the audience and show disapproval or say something on Twitter [that’s fine]. But you do not have the right to walk up on stage and smack somebody in the face because they said words.” Carrey speculated that the “selfish” outburst “came out of nowhere because Will has something going on inside him that’s frustrated, and I wish him the best, I really do. I don’t have anything against Will Smith. He’s done great things. But that was not a good moment.”
