Kanye West and his legal team have filed to trademark “YZYSPLY” for retail stores, online ordering services, and online retail store services. Ye has previously used the name “Yeezy Supply” for his website to release clothing, but the new move reportedly includes all sorts of items from shirts, socks, hats, visors, G-strings, tennis wear, headwear, and footwear. Lots of room to get creative! He already has a deal with GAP, and they recently dropped their first release of mostly black items … including his now-famous full-face masks.
After Kanye called out Adidas for blatantly copying his design on Instagram, he proceeded to file the trademark and service mark for "YZYSPLY" a few days after.
Looks like Ye is planning on taking full control of his brand away from Adidas. Below are the public records. pic.twitter.com/44WlzQlPA4
